I do use a couple of widgets and app icons spread over several screens.
In the past I had Android phones that would allow the re-order the order of the screens and to define a home screen other than the screen most to the left.
Now I would really like to move a large calendar and also email widget as a whole without having to re-arange each and every screen.
Is that somehow possible already and if not, could it be implemented. I image it cannot be too difficult.

I’ve never heard of that. IMHO it is not possible, due to iodéOS is using default LOS launcher.
And IMHO they will never fork it and implement such things.
But you’re free to use any launcher instead of trebuchet.
It used to be quite common in the past with standard launches. All changed when Google assistant was introduced and usually accessed by swiping to the right. However, I assume not a single iodé user will require this feature and so I would hope that they might look into that. It should actually not be too difficult to implement
