My issue with iodeOS (previous Calyx User) How to use normal Gcam

I have heard the lead dev has a fix for this, will hopefully get more clarification in the coming day or 2.

I confirm, a fix will be implemented in the next beta build for all supported Pixel devices.
GCam will work, and will be installable from Aurora Store.

There is a pixel camera and a pixel camera services available on aurora. Pixel camera app says it is not available for my device (Pixel 8a) while pixel camera services is available (and appears to be installed on my device). What is the difference between these two?

Are you on the latest beta? You need both apps. The services provide features for the actual Google Camera app. You might have to update them first. I currently have version 2.4.800624675.09 of it. Otherwise try the tips I suggested above

Thanks! With regard to the beta, are you asking about Aurora? How does one update Aurora (a pre-installed app)?
Yes, I do have the Pixel Camera services app version that you write here.
