Hi everyone,
I have a Pixel 6a running iodéOS 7.7 and am experiencing the following issues with Android Auto. Only a little over 20 contacts are displayed, and the DI.FM Radio and Zenradio apps only show 24 music channels, even though both apps offer far more. Everything works normally when I use the apps without Android Auto. Is anyone else having this problem? Thanks in advance for any feedback.
Okay, let me try to describe the problem more clearly. In my Dacia Duster—which has a Media Nav Evolution head unit supporting Android Auto via USB—I connect my Pixel 6a running iodéOS 7.7, but I can only access about half of my contacts (24 out of 48) through Android Auto. For instance, if I try to access a contact starting with the letter “V,” a contact starting with “K” is displayed instead (essentially the 24th contact). However, if I don’t connect the phone via USB—meaning no Android Auto, just Bluetooth—and use the head unit’s built-in phone app, I have access to all my contacts.
If I use my Poco F6 running the Infinity X custom ROM, or the Pixel 6a with the Axion OS custom ROM, with the head unit, everything works perfectly.
Sorry no feedback yet from others. I’ll try to test this over the weekend. Just to clarify, in Android Auto is it using the stock open-source Contacts app (default in iodé) or instead is it trying to use an alternate app like Google Contacts or something like that?
