Hello, on my S10+ with Iodé 5.11, there is a problem with the phone app: when I turn on the speaker, the microphone is very quiet, no one understands my words. The microphone used is then the top microphone. When the speaker is off, everything is fine (and the bottom microphone is used). With other Apps both mics works fine.
Any Idea?
Hi, I have a S Note 10+ and face a similar problem since the update: the phone app seems to crash and the person on the other end of the line doesn’t hear me. When I turn the phone completely off and restart, I am able to use the phone app as normal for a while until the problem occurs again. But in my case it is not only when I use the loudspeaker but in any mode. I cannot predict when the problem will occur, it might be in the middle of a call and 5 minutes or one day after the restart. As for you I don’t have problems with the microphone with other apps.
I tried everything I could, de- and reinstalling the phone app and setting the phone back. Nothing helped 
What is very interesting for me: the problem occured the first time when I tried to talk with loudspeakers.
How do you know, which of the two microphones are used? Is there an easy way for me to figure this out?

Hi, thanks for answer.
To check witch microfone is active, just knock on it with your finger, first at the button mic, than at the top mic. You will hear the difference clearly.

Hi, thanks for your quick reply! Very simple test indeed.
I will try figuring out which microphone is used with which app and if the upper mic doesn’t work as it seems to me after a quick check.
