Mattermost notification

Hi folks,
I’m facing issue with mattermost notification.
They are correctly set in mattermost app, with push notification one all message in all channels.
Notification permissions is allowed for Mattermost apps, but I don’t have any notification on new messages.

I check on Cloud Messaging service in MicroG settings, mattermost is not present.

App version 2.18.1
server version 9.7.1
iodeOS 5,3 on FP5

Hi,

According to me you should To resolve Mattermost notification issues ensure that the Mattermost app is properly registered with the Cloud Messaging service. Reinstall the app to re register it with MicroG. If the problem persists try clearing the app cache and data, then reconfigure your notification settings. Additionally verify that battery optimization is disabled for the Mattermost app to prevent it from being restricted in the background.

hi @almondsmaria and thanks for your answer.
This morning (for me in France), this is what I do.

I reinstall the app. At first startup, a popup asked me if I autorized the app to send my notification. I answered Yes.
I supposed this is the way to registered the app with the Cloud Messaging Service.

I went back to microG setting, but Mattermost is still not registered, I didn’t appear…

After that, I cleared cache and storage datas, and switched on the app again. It asked me again to autorise notification, what I do, and configure again servers and user.

Still no notification, and Mattermost is still not register in Cloud Messaging Service.

In app properties, I can see that Notification are authorized, and battery optimisation is disabled.

Ok, I found a solution.

I was using Mattermost Beta, from F-Droid.
Using Mattermost form Aurora makes notifications working.

Sorry for that.
