I have installed Live Transcribe from Aurora and the app appears to work. However despite granting permission to use michrophone. The words spoken do not appear to transcribe. This is an app for hard of hearing people where the app transcribes live speech into text.
The permission and Volume are checked to be ok. The graphic for the sound shows
In the stream I see a blue blocked connection.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Mmm yes it is a blocked connection. On “Recipient Blocking” I changed from Standard to None. So standard removed .
Now closed app and tried again. In Stream it says www.gstatic.com blocked 1hr ago. Should it not say 1 minute a go?
The app is the same the microphone graphic seems to register the microphone use (graphic expands when microphone is used) , Yet the app does not transcribe.
BTW , you said you don’t use microg, what if any do you use to by pass google surveillance?

The mike seems to be working. I see the graphic moving When I speak. Yet the audio should be transcribed. I am not seeing the screens suggested . So the question has not been ansered

I was reading on the Internet that Iode does not use the speech to text engine. This would explain why when I type text I hear the text being read out but when the microphone picks up sound ( I assume as the graphic for voice expands and contracts) yet the voices are not transcribed.
Is my reasoning and my assumptions correct?
