Issue accessing settings on Garmin Connect

Hello

I’m new to IODE and have been setting it up on my fairphone 6. The only problem I’ve run into is with Garmin Connect. I want to access the settings menu so that I can disable notifications on my watch, but the settings menu doesn’t open. Is this some sort of compatibility issue with the iode blocker? And if so, is there a way to whitelist garmin connect so that I can access the settings menu?

Thanks

Jeremy

I have no experience with wearables but you can disable the blocker in the settings of the iode-app at: Settingsper-app blockings[garmin app]None
Alternatively, disable the blocker entirely just for the test.

I have the same issue with Garmin Connect and Iode 7.4 on Fairphone 4. I have tried to disable the blocker entirely, but the issue persists. I’m not sure what is wrong.

Hi. Which Settings Menu are you trying to open? Through the watch icon on the top right? The Settings menu through the 3-dots at the bottom right?

Then, does it open or not at all?

I don’t have any issue with my Fairphone 5 and Iodé 7.4

There is this discussion from last fall that may be relevant still: GArmin Connect app: latest verrsion not working, but workaround available

That one is for Garmin Connect not starting. I had that as well, but one update of the app fixed the issue.

This issue is with the settings inside the app. Garmin Connect opens normaly, but when you click on the settings, it doesn’t load the settings.

I have the same problem running version 5.23.1 of the Connect app, running LineageOS for microG 23.2, on a Sony Xperia 10 V pdx235. So the problem is not specific to iodéOS and / or Fairphone 6

Weird. I am also using Garmin Connect 5.23.1 and I don’t have any issue to open the settings menus.

Garmin connect updated to 5.24 and settings now available, so getting this might have been an app issue…
