Is Qustodio or maybe Bark working on IodeOS?

Hi - though using it for years I didn’t had the need to make an account on the forums. That speaks volumes to the stability and my appreciation.

Though now I am at the crossroads, having to hand a phone to my kid, so I have to ask if for you guys, these 2 possible candidates are working on latest IodeOS + Pixel 9 Pro(s)? Anyone has any experience with them?

PS: I know about the plans, but I need a more of a… in depth watchful eye on my child. Thanks.

We had Qustudio for a while as one kid got a hand-me-down iPhone from a grandparent and there is not really any way to have “parent / kid” device monitoring between iPhone and Android otherwise. It was still a bit cumbersome, and not fully informative, and also on the limited mobile data plan it was not clear where the issue came but often the data was swallowed up, then we couldn’t message or call them if they weren’t on wifi!

Overall it was not great, but again I don’t think you are going to find any other solution unfortunately if you are crossing across Android to iPhone.

Now if you can hand them an iodéOS device that is different, there are some other options available to you (and the Qustudio features are better supported in the same ecosystem like that).

Unfortunately for now the “Parental Control” of iodé Premium is only for blocking (connections or apps, etc) but can’t do things like time tracking, remote monitoring of web searches, youtube videos, etc. In addition you would need to physically access the device to then do updates, etc. as there is no “parental control / monitoring app” you put on your phone.

In the future (near future for a yet-not public new feature you may like, but farther off future for a parental control app, for example) there may be more, but that is all that is there now.
