Hi,
I’m unable to download the iodeOS installer for Linux. Is this normal?
Thanks for your replies.
installer · master · ota / ota · GitLab (get newest 0.3.1 release). Where were you going that it was not available?
Why not Fastboot method and forget about a installer ?
See at the bottom of ota / ota · GitLab
Unzip fastboot package and execute flash-all.sh. Instead of execute I had “run as program”
OK I think I uncovered the issue: we need an update to our Installation page (it specifically links to 0.3.0 still, which when you run it says you need the new version but doesn’t give a link to the new version: I make an issue request for that too).
well yeah that does work well but certainly we have a big priority on supporting the graphical installer. I mean I prefer a bit more than a terminal console for my desktop system these days too ![]()
Hi,
New to this OS but not new to installing custom roms:
for me the UI installer was as obvious as it can get.
But i was telling a friend to use it, and he got stuck: he didn’t know what to do on the phone side.
I think the ui should tell you what to do on other side (it just says waiting for phone).
If the goal is to bring newbies over of course.
I do have rejects on OS itself, but it doesn’t belong in this thread.
Thanks.
That may occur if the correct device drivers are not installed (Windows)? What device, what desktop OS?
Sounds like a good discussion if you want to start a new thread about their experiences.
