Iode - OS Versioning Scheme

Why is the version number not incremented during an iode update?
Example: iode 4.2, then there was an update because of the DRM problem.
The newer version also has the version number 4.2.
I would expect 4.2.1, for example.
This makes it clear that this is a newer version.

Actually, we more or less follow lineage strategy: the build date is in some sense part of the version number. However we added a minor x number (e.g. 4.x), which means (for us) that the security patch has been updated. Maybe we could add another minor number for clarity. But not a priority :wink:
