Iode on brax3 phone wifi issues

I just received a new brax3 phone with iodeos. The wifi won’t connect even though I put in the correct password. I reset my router and now iode does not even see it. What could be the issue?

Welcome! Sadly wifi connection issues on some Routers / APs using WPA2 is a known issue, can you please follow these threads?

Lead dev is hard at work on it, but no ETA. In the meantime, hotspot from another phone or desktop, changing to WEP (if you are in an area that you can trust you won’t be hacked into as it isn’t a very secure protocol), or if you can changing to WPA3-only may work.

I am having the same issue with my Brax3 phone. It is not connecting to my wifi and I know I am using correct password. I have tried WEP on or off and still can’t connect.

There is a new beta release, but several with wifi security issues before are still reporting the same authentication issue in attempting to connect. You can try it however.

Best to follow along here, and also add a reply to specify your router / access point brand and model (and confirm your iodéOS version):

Could not connect to wifi network whether 2.4 or 5g with known password. with WEP enabled or disabled. Can connect to other hotspot or wifi so far without a problem.
