Yeah that’s not the first time I’ve seen a Tuta article not mention one of the major ‘brands’ for a particular subject in an article. i.e. I think they do tend to have a bias in the blog and news posts about who they talk about - especially in this case since they don’t mention iodé at all yet give GrapheneOS an “honourable mention”…

No mention of proton pass or their other apps.

Hey if any community members are going to various conferences or events let us know maybe there is a way to at least have a community meetup?

May also be worthwhile participating in the MobiFree project which

works to give European citizens and organizations more choice in, and access to, human-centred and ethical mobile software.

/e/ Foundation / Murena seem to play a large part in the project, but if it is sincere about ‘ethical mobile software’ (and not just a Murena marketing ploy), they should welcome involvement from iodé

Well, let’s see. I just asked them :slightly_smiling_face:

Tuta rarely or ever mention Proton - likely because they are the most direct competitor/equivalent… But IIRC Proton do tend to reference Tuta. But both are slightly different for mail so hence argue they are better than the other because the emphasise different things…
