How to add an Internet address as a database for the “iodé” blocker
To customize the blocklists you would need to be a “Premium” subscriber. Here is a bit more info on using the iodé app (including how to add custom addresses): iodé app - iodé
In addition there is this page, which is lower level explaining how the blocker works:
How do I create my own list?
Par exemple: “https://sebsauvage.net/hosts/hosts”
I’m a premium user.
Thank you
Not possible atm
OK I understand better, you would like to add an additional block list (sorry I didn’t understand before). As @AlphaElwedritsch mentions, it isn’t possible at this time, but I submitted a feature request: iodé blocker: add custom block list file (#33) · Issues · ota / issue-tracker · GitLab
In the documentation I read that it is possible to add a customized list:
Blocking Databases
Database Sources
…
The blocker offers different levels of blockings:
- Complementary Blockings: Options to block adult content, unethical social media, and customized lists (avancé) défini par l’utilisateur.
…
If you long press on this “customized blockings”, it allows you to add individual rules one at a time, including a wildcard or a regular expression. So it is about using these individually added rules, not about adding a list of rules. But as noted, I think it would be a good feature to be able to add a full list as you request, that is what I suggested on the feature request.
