Integrated SPAM blocking feature available for beta testers

There is a new feature coming to beta: SPAM call blocking integrated right in the Dialer app! Here is the announcement:

For now this feature includes block lists for France and basic “STIR / SHAKEN” blocking for the USA and Canada. The developers are exploring other options to integrate additional block lists.

June 17, 2026 Update: We have now rolled out our next version, which includes integration with spam call lists from https://phoneblock.net! See this new announcement

Great news. Looking forward to whole EU (26 states) spam databases integration.

Help us find some data sources that we can integrate, we would love to add them if it is possible!

Spoofing is not included, right? Not even sure if it is possible on phone side, as far as I know should happen on provider level

Just discover wincalls (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wincalls.spamblocker) but having something integrated in the os sound nice

Hi. Saracroche is also getting popular.

Have you looked at potential dev synergies?

Yes! It was actually some of the basis of our original rollout, but it was (at the time) only relevant for France I thought and was a bit more limited on it only incorporating officially designated number prefixes? (This may not be true, I was only overhearing some discussion from the team on it).

By the way @Revan335 , our newest implementation (coming with iodéOS v7.6 does use phoneblock.net as a backend).
