Installing Gcam without MicroG

Hello All,
I have changed from Graphene to iodéOS 5.8 on Pixel 8. I did not install microG and wanted to install gcam port but it does not work because of no Play services. Tried to install Gcam services provider from F-droid (it worked on Graphene before) but I got the error message: -13 The package failed because it contains a content provider with the same authority as a provider already installed in the system.
Any hints appreciated.

Unfortunately, it was the same for me…since Android 13…it worked before…no solution found…

I changed the OS the other way around

Thanks for your reply.
Apparently Gcam services provider conflicts with microG, even if I disabled and did not install microG (did not want to use it) some components conflict so you cannot get rid of microG completely in iodéOS?. Only way to return to Graphene, what a pity. :frowning:

hi
I also think it has something to do with microG.
I never installed it either… big question mark… or was it just installed even though I deselected it.

At least I remember… that when I created a second user, microG was simply installed… hmmm… bug???
