Can you install iode on samsung galaxy tab2 10.1? About device says model gt p5100. It has the build in sim card phone. Thanks.

your device is espresso3g:

the iodé GSI might work, but be aware of the risks

instructions more specific to a very similar device can be found here:

if you are succeessful, please share your results here:

I would be surprised if you can get a GSI to run on this device. It is too old (released 2012, Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich, upgradable to 4.1 Jelly Bean) to be Treble-capable, which I think is a requirement for running a GSI. Even if you can get it to run, performance is likely to be dreadful: the hardware isn’t powerful enough to run anything much later than Android 8 Oreo.

Check out the device-specific threads in XDA Forums, for some alternative custom ROMs that might be usable. But read the threads: some of the builds will run, but have very poor performance.

Sorry to be discouraging, but this is a very old device

GSIs only run on devices later then android 8

Ihanks for pointing that out. I saw they mentioned a GSI in the article I quoted, but who knows, it’s probably AI produced webcrap. Frustrating that the internet is becoming so full of BS. Hopefully the custom rom hardware wiki will be extended to include unofficial builds and GSIs and become a reputable resource to look to first in the hunt for a build.
