I am Confused About App Settings in IOdev Core – want advice

Hey everyone,

I have been exploring the Apps & Core Settings section but I am confused about how some of these settings interact when it comes to enabling/disabling app features globally versus per-user. Is there a clear documentation or any visual walkthrough for this?

Also, is there any practice for managing app-level configs when working in a team environment? such as should everything go through version control or do most of you handle it manually?

I am asking because I am trying to align this setup with a broader system I am working on, which includes some data monitoring tools. I completed a Splunk training I am thinking more about log centralization, visibility & consistent configuration across environments.
I appreciate any tips or shared experiences. I want to make sure I am not missing something obvious. Also i have check this I am Struggling a Bit with App Configurations & want tips still i am confused.

Sorry I am quite confused about what you are asking, is this about the iodé app or other? Because honestly your post reads a lot like AI wrote it but made a real hash of it in the end? :slight_smile:

Yeah, both the post above and the earlier one it links to do both look like AI generated adverts for the SOC/Splunk website linked in both (and under different names) @rik; even more so because the content is also near identical in both posts, as well as having that classic AI mix of poor structure & grammar and wishy washy content that says nothing…

P.S. Both posters have female names, only ever posted 1 post, and were only active on forum for 1 day after creating profile - so definitely look like bots…
