How to install from Google Play intentionally

Quiet some time has passed since last reply.

I have the same/similar problem, I have newly installed iodéOS 5.7 on my Fairphone 4 (FP4) and connot use the “Google Sheets” (table editor):
When starting the app, a microG-Service message asks for login, but the following login is not possible, it says “This account already exists on this device”. Same for “Google Docs” and “Google Drive” app. But the “Google Notes” app just works fine.

Is there any solution to this?
I really would like to use the “Google Sheets” app on my FP4, but consider now to use another Android (/e/OS…?) or revert to stock FP4-Android.

Good news: Yesterday evening, 2024-12-18, the new version iodéOS 5.8 became available and I installed it right away.
Now it works: “Google Sheets” as well as “Google Docs” and “Google Drive” apps.
I think the miracle is behind this line in the Changelog: “Signature spoofing fixed to support lastest versions of Goggle applications.” Thank you @vince31fr and all involved developers! What a X-mas gift for me

I will update (Editable list) Apps compatible with iodéOS accordingly.
