I am assuming that Heliboard is installed as standard as all my keyboards on Fossify, Brave browser, etc., look the same. I want to add a dictionary primarily to Fossify Messages so that I can use the Heliboard emojis dictionary. These are the instructions that I see:
To add a dictionary file for emojis to HeliBoard, follow these steps:
- Download the emoji dictionary file (e.g.,
emoji_en.dict) from the official repository, such as theaosp-dictionariesrepository on Codeberg. - Open HeliBoard and navigate to the Languages & Layouts settings.
- Select the language for which you want to add the emoji dictionary.
- Tap the + button next to the “Dictionary” section.
- Choose “Add dictionary from file” and browse to select the downloaded
.dictfile (e.g.,emoji_en.dict). - The dictionary will be added, and you should now receive emoji suggestions as you type, providing a functionality similar to “emoji search”.
Question: where is the Heliboard app stored or how do I access it?
