Help - calls not working on Fairphone 5

So I installed Iode on my Fairphone 5 only to find out my calls do not work. When I start calling I hear nothing (no sound that would indicate that the phone is ringing). When the other side pick up they do not hear me, I do not hear them. E.g. signal calling works when doing video calls, but when just calling the other side do not hear me. I tried 2 different sim cards, one esim one normal sim. What to do?
I checked the option to re-install FairphoneOS for the firmware but they are not on android 16. Do I risk bricking my phone if I install Android 15 (FairphoneOS) instead of the Android 16 (iodeOS)?

I would guess the problem you are facing is with your carrier settings.

Please check that the “System Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > (your sim)” VoLTE slider is enabled, and also check your APN settings.

You APN settings are likely correct if you have mobile data working, is that true? If you do have data, but only no voice calls, then check this:

Dial *#*#4636#*#* > Phone Information and confirm that IMS Registration and Voice Over LTE are both enabled.

Hi rik, thank you, I was already checking the above, tried with or without VoLTE, alse with or without wifi calling and changing preferred network. The registration seems correct for the esim, for the second sim - this one is physical - I do not see the IMS, VoLTE, etc there - Not Registered/Unavailable. My data and SMS are working properly on both SIMs, only calls have this weird issue.
