I am not very happy with Heliboard. Issues:
After selecting one of the offered word suggestions on the top row above the keyboard, more often than not a completely different word emerges as a result.
The spacebar, rather than inserting a space, very (VERY) often shifts the cursor to the left, straight into a word that was typed just earlier.

As harsh as that may sound, the best keyboard is and remains the Google keyboard, Gboard.
I have done a lot of tests, tried out all kinds of keyboards. But in the end, if good autocorrect is important to you, you want to use glide typing and the keyboard should simply run smoothly, then you can’t get past Gboard.
I use Gboard and forbid it from using the network. This way, security and privacy are guaranteed, but I don’t have to be annoyed every day with every sentence I write.
I’m also using heliboard with a library for swiping and I’m quite happy with it. The main downsides for me are the german dictionary - it lacks a lot of words and autocorrect suggests sometimes pretty stupid stuff. But that’s the cost of a no-data-collecting keyboard and the best I tested so far.

Well, sometimes when I restart my phone the iodé blocker is turned off. That may be an issue that only concerns my phone but turning the network off in the app settings seems to be more secure to me.

Since I also could not use the very basic keyboard because I came from Swype and this didn’t work anymore, I now use https://keyboard.futo.org/
But swiping is still quite in development.
It’s using offline data also for speech recognition, not only for typing.
But heliboard doesn’t seem to be so bad at second sight:
