Guru maps account login in

Hi,

I would like to ask if people could test the guru maps account login to test if they can login and if it is not looping ?

It is on all of my devices and I have a lifetime device to aggregate the devices on.

I see that Guru Maps and Guru Maps Pro both have “gold” ratings for compatibility when using microG, but the reports, while from this year, are for devices running Android 12 and 13.

Have you enabled all the permissions under “App Info” (first thing to check) and disabled the iodé app for it (2nd thing to check)?

Then if neither of those issues, what type of login does it do? Send a SMS, an email, or just enter username and password, etc.?

Guru maps with lineageos is based on a central login platform. Nothing to do with google play services. That’s another part of the app if detected on the phone.

And this is because I have asked among others on their telegram a few years ago to have a central login platform. That’s why we have it.

The login is looping. If you quit and reopen then you are more or less logged in. But the premium is not detected.

Don’t bother thing it is a lineageos problem it is really not. It works with other devices on lineage with and without microg. So this has nothing to do with it.

The only thing it could be related to is the iodeblocker.

And since we have already problems with Duolingo and it is probably related to that to, it means something is not picked up by the blocker interface but still being blocked.

Analogy: matrix who has not been updated since 2021 is not being able to detect that it is blocking actively something on Crunchyroll. Even if deactivated in the interface it is still blocking. It is only when you remove it completely and install noscript which is updated and who is picking up everything that you resolve the problem.

So better look inside the iodeblocker to see what bad interaction there is between iodeblocker and those 2 apps.
