The irony is that whilst schmoogle appear to be heading toward locking down Gandroid, Apple are opening up their walled garden to third party app stores. Personally I think it will have the effect of a win for Apple in the longer term as Gandroid users may well choose to migrate over to iphone. For FOSS OS and app users it makes no difference.
No Goolag dependencies = no worries!
