Future of the GSI version (iodéOS 6.7+)

Hello,

I know there is a GSI version of iodéOS 5.4. I would like to know if there are any plans to update the GSI version to iodéOS 6.7 or higher in the future.

Does the team plan to keep the GSI up to date with the main releases? I would appreciate any information on this matter.

As a slight clarification, the GSI has been updated very recently, it is at 5.16 currently.

So it is still being actively updated, but with the 5.x designation that means it is on an Android 14 / LineageOS 21.x base, and a build based on Android 15 / LOS 22.x hasn’t been made yet.

Let me check and come back to you on this, possibly moving it to the newer base has been problematic.

I got this reply, sorry I failed to post back here:

Upgrading will be made at some point in time, but it will require significant more time because the maintainer of the lineage gsi reduced its work to a light version

So it will take looking at the upstream GSI development community for updated and available builds for Android 15 / LOS 22.2 / iodé 6.x bases.
