FP5 No data on T-Mobile in US

The Fairphone 5 has been confirmed in many places to be working on T-Mobile in the US. I am on a T-Mobile MVNO (reseller). I had no problems activating the phone and can make and receive calls. However, the phone will not make a 4G or 5G connection.

I first connected the phone with a physical SIM and had the same problem. I tried converting to eSIM and the same no-data situation.

Mobile data is turned on. APNs only says, “Access Point Name settings are not available for this users”

Am I missing something?

Is anyone else using an FP5 in the USA with iode?

Answering my own question…

I found the solution to be reboot then I could add an APN for my carrier. In this case all I had to do is add “APN: wholesale” That might work for any MVNO of T-Mobile.
