FP4 Aurora Store Stopped Working

Hey all,

Installed iodeOS on a Fairphone 4 a few months ago. For the last month or two I’ve been completely unable to install new apps from the aurora store. Updates do not work either but before that aurora worked fine save for a few apps.

When I try to load an apps page it gives one of two messages, either “unavailable” or

Unavailable
App not available for your device”

I’ve tried changing the spoof manager to other devices. I’ve updated the software to the latest version but still nothing works. I’m still using anonymous mode on aurora rather than a spoof gmail account. But im assuming this is an issue with microG that I’m unfamiliar how to tweak.

Has anyone had any similar issues with fairphones and aurora lately? Or know of any ways how to go about debugging this?

Thanks

Welcome - search is your friend. That’s an Aurora thing - there’s lots of threads on it. Basically you just have to wait and try again - typically it’s Google blocking Aurora, or its because you’ve been opening Aurora too much in a short space of time IIRC. Basically just need to chill for say 24 hours and try again. Sometimes less will do.

If you search the community you should find other existing threads on it with the details and more info - the brand of handset is irrelevant.

It is wierd though that changing the spoofing profile does not help.
My experience is when Google blocks Aurora, connection as anonymous is not possible at all.
Here, it looks like connection was possible but apps are found incompatible.
