Now I have a problem again. I am using an XA2 with the latest iodé version. Originally I had installed the Fossify Messages app directly from F-Droid. Now it is no longer visible since yesterday and has also simply disappeared under Apps. So I reinstalled it from F-Droid, but strangely it was not to be found after the installation. Then I activated it in the pre-installed apps section, restarted it and there was still no icon to be found. But it is listed under apps and marked as active under pre-installed apps. Only I have no way to activate it because there is no app icon.
I could use a little help.
I did a new install on my XA2 a few days ago and as a new user I am still finding my way around iode so no expert, but I do remember seeing an option to hide specific apps in the settings menu. Can’t remember the exact path but was in the settings>apps area as you would expect IIRC.
.
Back with the phone now and I am seeing that Fossify Messages is pre-installed on 5.4 as the default SMS client. Which vOS are you using @Bellini ?
Thanks
Anyone can still access any app in the Settings → Apps… (where they’re not hidden nor protected).
I understand there’s Shelter(Work Profile) where we can do some kind hiding/protection. But do we know of any app like Secure Folder of Samsung?
Now I have the problem again. Unfortunately, I can no longer read the post by sts61 that had the solution.
A little help?
Puuh, solved
