Pre installed apps mechanisam doesn’t work! My suggestion is to remove this feature from Iodeos, and pull these apps in the fdroid Iodeos repo. For the FP5 it’s a nightmare. In my experience. It would be helpfull to read from other FP5 users their experience with this pre installed apps feature, please! How they handle this issues, to reinstall the apps again. Thanks

FP4,5,6 were removed from the installer because when resetting FRP (so that users don’t end with a brick if they forget to unregister a Google account before installing iodé) the phone reboots so the installer gets confused. The developers know of this but need to make adjustments to the installer in order to accommodate the reboot. So for now you need to flash the “manual” way: ota / ota · GitLab
This is an essential feature to allow full removal of system level apps that you may not want (it is a bit tricky because you need to remove them from the read-only system partition and also account for them not re-installing when the next OTA that includes them by default is installed). Not many other LineageOS based ROMs (any?) provide this ability.
