Fairphone 6+ same installer as FP6?

Hello,

I am getting a FP6+ in the coming days. I don’t see it in the supported devices yet. But I’ve read on /e/os forum that the FP6 image also works on FP6+. Is this the same for Iode?

We are working on evaluating it.

Since the Factory OS and /e/ OS work fine on both phones, and since LineageOS had reports of FP6+ phones working well with the existing software, I decided to give Iodé a whirl. I can confirm it installs successfully using the graphical installer (it gets recognised as FP6) and I was able to relock it.

At your own risk though, since it is not yet official (though Iodé is already selling FP6+ phones so I suppose it is imminent).

Minne only sees 8GB memory, otherwise it woks fine.

That’s strange. Did you check the memory profiler in the developer options? For me, it shows 12GB total memory.

yeah i did, shows 8, lineage install shows 8, fpos shows 12, bootloader shows 12. did you do the latest ota update?

Not yet - it’s still on 7.7.

i reinstalled 7.7 and that shows 12. 7.8 meminfo shows 8gig guess its an kernal thing
