Attempting a factory reset produces an error:
up + home + power → wipe data/factory reset → yes
returns
wiping data
formatting /data
formatting /cashe
data wipe complete
e:failed to clear bcb message failed to find /misc partition
The phone has begun displaying this message when turned on:
An unauthorized attempt has been made to reset your device to factory default settings. Connect to a wifi or mobile network to verify your identity.
It appears when buying the used phone I forgot asking the seller to make a factory reset. And some security feature now hinders me in making a factory reset.
Do you know any piece of software, pc software included which is able to circumvent the security feature on the phone and give me control over the phone? Thank you.
