Hello,
I’ve noticed every so often I see a message near the bottom of my FP5’s screen saying there was a timeout, referencing the iodé F-Droid repository. Is this a known issue? Do I have to do anything to fix it? Thanks in advance!
Hello,

If you open F-Droid and pull down to refresh does it report the problem? My ignorant guess would be it is temporary network blips… but do report back if it is a consistent error and let’s see if others also can confirm it.
Manual refresh doesn’t show any errors, no. Might be network blips, true. I haven’t had issues updating any of the iodé apps distributed through F-Droid so maybe it doesn’t matter but it is a little strange.
Did it say timeout or timestamp?
I had this (“F-Droid timestamp expected”) showing up regularly (on CalyxOS) ever since January. Could not find out what it meant. It appeared after every reboot and subsequent login. It hasn’t happened anymore since I switched to iodéOS - but then, I don’t have automatic reboot, anymore.
I think it says timeout. I’ll try to get a screenshot next time it happens and update the thread.
