Hi,
Does anyone have any direct personal experience with this app in IodeOS, or controlling Eufy cameras in IodeOS via another means please?
I need to install a CCTV camera setup, no hub, just 4 x Eufy cameras, subscribe to Eufy cloud & be able to turn them on & off via the app in IodeOS, receive alerts if events are triggered & view the cameras remotely.
I want to do everything manually & not give the app location permissions.
I have installed the app in IodeOS via Aurora & it opens ok, I have yet to buy the cameras though & wanted to see if anyone had experience with them first please?
Cheers.
Plexus reports it as “gold” for a Calyx reporter (most similar to iodéOS as it includes microG), and a “Bronze” from a Graphene reporter, noting that only notifications were not working.

Thanks, I was unaware of Plexus.
I’ll give it a go then & confirm back the results.
I have it running on my FairPhone 5. The notifications (door bell) are about 1 second slower than my wife’s stock Pixel 10 . . but works perfectly otherwise.

Thanks, that’s good to know, now all I need is Eufy to get more stock.
Cheers.
Well, I had to cancel the idea of buying online from Eufy, I use email aliases in online stores & forums & they cancelled my order, sent me a form to fill in that asked for a different email address they could “verify”. There was no bank-side issue with the transaction, I spoke with them. So I won’t be buying from Eufy,
Oddly, I had already created an account in the app with the same alias ok.
Thanks for the replies.

A final reply to this thread: I went with Reolink as they would let me place an order and bought a couple of E1 Pro cameras for the house. All works well with Iodeos, there’s no aspect or function which has problems.
I’ve submitted an entry on plexus.
Thanks again.
