Étape enable OEM unlocking aucun effet

Bonjour

Nous sommes maintenant bloqués à l’étape “rebooting into fastboot, waiting for any device”

Là aussi, si vous avez une idée, merci d’avance.

Sorry I have to reply in English. But I had very similar issues with a Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, that the installation got stuck waiting for any device. In my case, I changed from a USB-C to USB-C cable to a USB-C to USB-A cable, and then installation went smoothly.

So please report back what cable you are using.

Bon (or is it bonne) chance! (that is the best I can do in French

Rik

Hello
No problem with the language, thanks for your feedback.
I used a usb-c / usb-a cable.
I will use another cable of the same type and, if necessary, test a usb-c / usb-c cable and get back to you.

Après quelques tentatives, en version 14 ou 15, le téléphone a fini par rendre l’âme.
Il ne démarre plus du tout.

After a few attempts, in version 14 or 15, the phone finally gave up the ghost.
It doesn’t start at all.

I’m sorry I am a bit confused. Did you force proceed after it was waiting for any device and now it “bootloops” (shows the splash logo, then after some seconds it restarts)? If this is the case, it is what I experienced as well when my cable was not communicating well (it would detect it sometimes but not during the waiting for any device section).

Sorry to not have better advice, possibly you can follow the manual flash procedure and report back here: ota / ota · GitLab (scroll down to the link for the Pixel 6 download).

Good luck, this is getting to be more common that I see people having trouble during the flashing process.

(Unrelated: can you recommend a good English ==> French translation service, I am not sure of the easiest way to do auto-translation that respects privacy).

We reinstalled google android 15 then 14 (via pixelrepair.withgoogle.com) on our various attempts when we were stuck at the “waiting for any device” or “OEM unlocking” stage.
As well as with various usb-c to usb-a or usb-c cables

Unsuccessfully
The various manipulations got the better of the phone.
It doesn’t start up at all, and doesn’t react to any key presses, combinations or plug-ins.
It is ready to be sent for recycling.

In the meantime, we’ve picked up a Pixel 7, on which the installation went off without a hitch.
So it was probably a technical problem on the phone that prevented its migration to IodéOS.

That’s what I use.
