Hi, I’m having two errors. The first is that I can’t check for updates because it says I’m not connected to the internet. The second is that in the news, I have the latest build for December 2025.
Please specify your device model AND the iodé version you are currently on.
Did your iodé news app give you information about an upgrade vom version 6.x to 7.x? Please follow that directions. In case you did not get the news, here is a screenshot.
EDIT: For the internet connection, please try this.
I have pixel 9 pro xl with iode 7.4.
You wrote, that you had the latest December 2025 update, so I presumed that you might still have a 6.x version.
The latest (March) stable version is 7.3.
So if you say you have 7.4, then this is possibly a beta version (can’t tell for sure, since I do not own a Pixel).
Your updater cannot find a newer version, since there is none.
My mistake. I have version 7.3, but in the news it says the latest build is December 2025.
I don’t see the new features in the latest builds.
If you go to settings → about the phone → iodéOS version, you will always find your current version (including the date of the build).
Which features are you missing?
I don’t see the changelog of the latest builds.
Try
yes, already tried, but without success
The current news app version is 2.0.2
You surely have already checked the network and internet access of the news app.
I have no more ideas about this.
As @MissPiggy notes, can you confirm if you have News App 2.0.2 (you can find out for sure from “News App > Gear”). If that is correct and you have network access enabled (and cache cleared) from “Long press app icon > App Info > Mobile data usage” then it could be there is a bug for this specific device (Pixel 9). Let me know and I will ask the developers to check.
