[EDITABLE LIST] IodéOS official & unofficial devices

Please make iode for redmi 12 5g /poco m6 pro/redmi note 12r code name sky,. Please

Add Brax3 by Brax Technologies to the list! Released Spring 2025. Ships with Iode OS A14 Preinstalled. More info on their forum.

Sorry but there is no LineageOS build for that device - see Devices | LineageOS Wiki

IodéOS is built on LineageOS, so no LineageOS build means no IodéOS build either.

Build avaialble for NB1

Hi there, what is the current status of the Google Pixel 4a? The list at the start lists it as having an unoffical community build, yet the Pixel 4a is available in the iodé shop suggesting that it is an officially supported device.

Hi Sol, well spotted! I assume Pixel 4a (sunfish) is officially supported but idk how long it has been there.

I will add it to the list above.

It’s not in the main list for all devices with install instructions etc (link at top of page) or the official list on iode website ( link also at top of page) but you can get the builds here:

Pixel 9 (tokay) is also in shop but I can’t see it listed in any of those places at the moment.

Thanks for the clarification chrisrg

I’ll check to see if the team can update that, and I’ll probably discontinue my P4a unofficial builds and advise people to migrate to the official build.

That’s a good plan!

I expect you’re on this but it never harms to point out that locking bootloader triggers a wipe.

Yes, it is good to issue a reminder. I’ll continue over on the Unofficial Pixel Thread.

Hi yall, just found this forum post:

and was wondering if anyone could give me advice on how to install it to avoid bricking my device.

For most custom ROMs based on LIneageOS, including IodéOS, the best procedure is to follow the installation instructions for LIneageOS for your device, but use the IodéOS ROM zip file, and any other files that are released with the the builds (e.g. recovery or boot image files), in place of the LineageOS versions. For your devices there is only the ROM zip file, so use the LIneageOS versions of any other files (boot.img, recovery.img, etc)

For your device:

Good luck, and dont worry too much - it is almost impossible to ‘brick’ a device by following the LOS instructions. You can almost always find a way to reflash the stock ROM on your device, and start over.

Thank you very much for your fast and detailed response. I will try my best and just ask again for further help, should i need it.

Hi Petefoth. Any possibility of adding Oneplus 8T to your list? Would love to test on my device.

I’ll give it a go. The first try failed, possibly because of a ‘dirty’ source tree. I’ve blown that away and started a new build with a clean source tree (so it will take a few hours - don;t wait up).

There’s a good chance it will fail anyway because of changes in LineageOS sources made since the Iodé 6.7 sources were frozen. If it does, I’ve added it to the list of devices for the next run of Iodé builds.

Keep an eye on the MicroG LineageOS builds Matrix room. If the build succeeds, look here in the morning for a directory called kebab.

Good night

EDIT:

Sorry - it’s failed again. Let’s see what happens with the Iodé 6.8 build

I’m currently running Microg-LOS … love the the idea of the extra privacy additions in Iodé.

BTW, I also have a OP 6T (backup device), on which I flashed Iodé a few days ago and it’s functioning as expected so far.

Thank you so much!

Hi there, Im trying to install iode to my oneplus nord n30. Right now is running linage microg. Is there an image or a zip file for this model yet? I did try one zip file from another post here. It wont let my install it, keeps saying is to old when it is verify.

in this case, do i use the .img files from Lineage pure or the Lineage with MicroG version?

I would try the LineageOS for MicroG versions first.

Alternative is to install official LineageOS or LineageOS for MicroG (using their .img files). Then install the IodéOS ROM over the top using recovery ad adb sideload
