The initial installation via GSI.zip takes noticeably longer, especially on less powerful SoCs, as the GSI.zip is first unpacked in the smartphone. But in the end, the iodéOS 5.4 GSI.

A beta is already available: iode-5.5-20240919-arm64_bvN.img.xz · master · ota / betas · GitLab. I haven’t advertise it in the beta group yet.
And, good news, starting from this build, OTAs will be available.

@phhusson and @ponces first presented this highlight at the beginning of 2022, but then let it fall asleep again.
All the more In the GSI scene, the OTA capability is a special feature and a unique selling point of iodéOS GSI by iode.tech.
It would also be desirable if iodé would adapt the naming [ arm64_bvN ].
[ v ] stands for “vanilla” in GSI
iodéOS GSI has microG firmly integrated at system level, so it is not “vanilla” but much [ f ] more “built-in MicroG” [ arm64_bfN ].

On my tablets Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 (2020) SM-T505 ans Telekom (Germany) T Tablet 5G the error message shown in picture N°2 above is not displayed.
