Is there a way to disable the screenshot sound (iodéOS 6, unrooted)?
It would be quite inconvenient to activate Do Not Disturb every time I want to take a screenshot.
On my previous phone I had the same issue but that one was rooted so I could fix the problem with a Magisk module.
Any help appreciated!
Inside the camera app when you go to settings you will find a toggle for shutter sound.

My mind had misread “screenshot” for “photo”, so yes I don’t see an easy way to do this.
Digging around a bit on AOSP or LOS discussions doesn’t come up with an easy solution either, sadly.

I’m not sure whether that behaviour is even intended since that “issue” already exists for several LOS versions.
I have found a workaround.
With the app Screenshot Tile [No root] I can take screenshots without sound.
Plus: The app offers the possibility to take screenshots with a long press of the home button.
