Different Sound-Problems - Samsung S10

Hallo, I have several Sound-Problems on my Samsung S10 (all updates made, it was from beginning on….)

1.) when I use the Speaker I can hear, but my phonepartner doesn´t hear me anymore. Same with headphone.

2.) when I open a voicemail at Signal or Whatsapp it starts “loud”. When I then take it to my ear so no one else can hear it, it stops or it is way to loud. Ich tryed different things, but I don´t find the “rule” with that this works. So either I hear nothing, or it hurts in my ears and/or everyone else can hear everything…..

3.) Most of the time I don´t get a sound for incoming calls. No difference if it is a normal call or a Signal or Whatsapp call. Only sometimes there is a sound. Sometimes it is while I read for example something at telegramm…but sometimes I do nothing or hear a Podcast. At least I don´t understand the reason why or why not….Usually I get sounds for incoming messages as expected.

I read about some people who had some similar problems but I couldn´t find a solution yet….

So I would be happy about help! M.

Just to make sure I understand the problem correctly:

“it was from beginning on” means that it also occurs on stock ROM? That would mean that there is a hardware defect.

Or did you mean that the problem occurs ever since you flashed iodéOS onto your phone?

Hallo Miss Piggy and thank you for helping me also here…

I bought the phone allready with iodé on it, and from beginning on it was a problem for me. That´s I think around 1,5 years ago.

I added “Samsung S10” to the title and also tagged that device. Let’s see if others with the device can give some feedback. Can you link the other threads you have seen about the issue? Maybe we can consolidate them to help us get a bit farther down the road on this issue.

I wonder who installed the iodéOS in the first place (Miso states, he/she bought it with iodéOS already installed) and if maybe a clean, new install could help. The other day, we solved a problem with updates (thread was in German), but I kept wondering if there was more to the problems than just inexperience with Custom-ROMs. But of course, if Miso bought it from iodé, then this should not be an issue - if he/she bought it from a private person, it may well be.

I bought it from iodé, so maybe you are right and i should send it back, i never thought about that before… the other thread didn´t get solved, but i wrote privat with the person who had the problem, his / her solution was also to send it back. So I guess I will do that. Thank you for your help!

Actually, this is not what I said or meant. I am sure that iodé installed the phone correctly.

Oh ok, then I missunderstood. But since that problem existed from day one on that could maybe help….since I have no other idea. And as you now I make my updates regulary, as soon as possible.
