It would be nice to indicate the date of the security patch for the rom on gitlab (or somewere easy to find). Because i want to install iodeOS but i need the bootloader lock (Revolut), but i can’t find the date of the security patch of last iodeOS release so i can not try because i don’t know if im gonna brick my phone…im on Fairphone 4 but i think it can be useful for all the phone that can brick because of the security patch.
My FP6 with 7.6 has 01.06.2026. I agree, it should be visible somewhere. Not sure where such information can be found. I usually check the news app, but for that you already need to have an installation.
I have requested it be part of the filename, that was the easiest “non-manual way” we came up with. But this hasn’t happened yet. In the meantime, you need to look at our gitlab commit history. Here it is for the FP4:
From this, you can see that FP4.QREL.15.17.2.20260415141502 was integrated last month.
