first i tried flashing iode 5.4 via twrp (after factory reset),
it says “updater process ended with ERROR: 1”.
then, i tried using odin to flash iode-5.4-recovery.img,
odin shut itself everytime i pressed start.
tried iode 5.3 as well, same result.
anyone has similar issue? or is the problem on my end?
i have got into iode recovery via heimdall,
however when i flash iode 5.4, it again says "ERROR: recover: Error in /sideload/package/zip (status 1)

what processor does your S10e have? Snapdragon or Exynos?
Have you tried flashing the latest non-beta (4.xx)?
Exynos (G970F).
i came from iode 4, just went back to iode 4.
i’ll stay with 4 for now.

Not a very big risk to be fair. Very few (vanishingly few?) recent security vulnerabilities in recent versions of Android that pose a serious, realistic, readily exploitable threat to ordinary phone users in normal use. When talking about ‘risk’ in the context of phone operating systems, it’s worth keeping a realistic sense of proportion
There are more important things to worry about!
But 4.16 isn’t outdated on the S10 line, it has the September security patch
the 5.xx branch hasn’t been released yet outside of the beta channel
Is Iodé5 for s10e still not released yet?
Should I switch to Los+microg now? It has A14 already stable running for s10e…
