Hi, I’m running iodeOS 6.7 on FP5. Tethering doesn’t work niether through WiFi nor USB. My laptop fails to acquire an IP address from the phone in both cases. The built in DHCP server seems not to do the job. Sniffing reveals the the phone’s DHCP server doesn’t reply to requests.
I just used my Pixel 7 Pro, with iodé 6.7, as a “wifi hotspot” to my desktop (running an Ubuntu 24.04 based derivative). It received a DHCP address, authentication worked to it, and internet works through it.
I also tried “USB Tethering” and I am getting a DHCP address over that and am able to ping out to the internet over that connection as well.
So we may need more information, maybe confirm your phone hotspot’s security protocol, etc? What is your PC’s operating system, and is there any firewall etc. at play here that is preventing the connection?

Thanks for testing this. The problem is gone now. It didn’t work after a reboot either, but it does after a second reboot.
