I don’t understand why everyone is talking about a version 5

Version 5, yes why not? I have 4.12 beta and wait for 5.0.

Many Phones model have actually Iode os 5.0 since many weeks. A Friend oft me has iode OS 5.0 since march !!!

But for my s9+ i wait and wait. When i have a note10 oder newer or other model, i has iode os Version 5.0. why you not understand, that we talking about Version 5.
:slightly_smiling_face:

Bonjour,
I bought 2 or 3 years ago a S9+ from Iode. I also expected iode5.

Few months later, I’d like to have a clear status of the possibility to upgrade my phone to Android 14 (mostly hoping it will solve WiFi problems).

These links mostly tells what I have ; iode 4 / Android 13

These ones tell a different story, as iode 5 / Android 14 is mentionned

Merci !
Pascal

Apologies from the team for our mislabeling on the shop page. The s9+ is indeed limited to android 13, and is approaching the end of life, as @AlphaElwedritsch pointed out. Android developers are always at the merci of manufacturer updates, as the OEM only provides updates for a limited period. The EU is pushing OEMs to extend support, which is good: new pixel devices sold today, for example, will be supported until 2031.

Incidentally, these are also the only devices I would recommend. And also the only devices that I, my family and those around me use

Good evening and happy new year,

A little digression, but how can I join the Iodé lounge on Matrix ? I use Element.

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Unfortunately Pixels don’t have SD card slots - that’s a deal-breaker for me. I - and most people I know - use Sony devices

One man’s joy is another’s sorrow
