My Shiftphone 8 with iodé 7.5 recently had a thermal shutdown during navigation. Afterwards the android auto app was not available anymore. I can’t find it even with adb shell.
Reinstalling iode using the updater app and adb sideload didn’t work.
Does anyone have an idea how I can get android auto back without wiping the device?
Navigate to Settings > Apps > Vorinstallierte Apps / Preinstalled Apps > System > Android Auto > Download-Button
Or, if not working: Navigate to Aurora Store > Search > Android Auto > Android Auto > Installieren / Install

I totally forgot the preinstalled app menu.
So a thermal shutdown caused the app that you had installed to appear as “uninstalled” in Preinstalled Apps? Wow that is a bad one!
Not sure if the device just turned off or was shut down correctly.
