The WiFi calling / text does not work. Checked with carrier and nothing is blocked. All the settings on the phone are correct. Also have reset the network. Any ideas? Seems like Iode is either not directing calls/text through WiFi or blocking it.

(Note for others that from email they have looked at *#*#4636#*#* where it shows that VoLTE is active and VoWifi is not available)
I have working VoWifi with Verizon in the USA (US Mobile, MVNO for Verizon at least). There is also another post on this today, but only 1 of VoLTE or VoWifi will report as active at a time.
But, if it shows as VoLTE available and your are on wifi, then it may be you may need to change your wifi calling preference. It does seem backward to me: I have mine set to “only use wifi if mobile unavailable” but it is in fact using VoWifi now and I have LTE available.
I’ve set to only WiFi but still not working.
I don’t know how this works at Verizon proper, but with US Mobile via their web-based account management I was not able to enable wifi calling from there until I had entered a physical location for emergency services, then I was able to toggle the slider to enable wifi calling (again at their web-based account interface, not on my phone). But before that wifi calling was not working from the phone (as expected).
UPDATE: for my T-Mobile (US Mobile) SIM it was that way (I provided the e911 address via the US Mobile account page). But I see for the Verizon (US Mobile) SIM the just say to fill the e911 info on your phone. Where you enable wifi calling there should be a place for entering your ‘Emergency Address’. If that doesn’t work, maybe confirm with Verizon that your e911 address is set and double-check that from their side you account is able to use wifi calling?
Confirmed with Verizon on e911 address. Added address to phone still not working. Verizon assured it is a device issue. How can I tell if the iode app isn’t blocking the connection between VoLTE and VoWiFi
Same. 7.8 has lost WiFi calling and SMS on Brax3. Reported by several others on Brax forum. All settings are correct, and was working previously
To clarify, was it working with 7.7? Or was an even older version where it was working? Does mobile data and non-wifi calling work (“normal cell calls”)?
Normal cell calls, SMS, and internet access works. I have very limited cell access at home, so some rooms etc have no signal and calls switched to WiFi. Whilst 7.7 did appear to work, getting the phone to make / receive a call involved making several calls (which failed) before successfully getting through. Incoming calls never ring, but I do receive an SMS to notify me if that. Aeroplane mode has at best, limited success in the past.
In short, it has been patchy but 7.8 has completely removed WiFi calling /
I now get a pop up notification telling me to connect to a cellular network
For the Brax3 specifically, Vincent noted there was a problem that is now fixed with the upcoming stable 7.8 build. After this is working, you may consider adjusting your Updater app to not install beta updates?

Thanks. I updated again yesterday and it is now working again. And, noted; no more betas. Hadn’t realised it was toggled on
