Which beta version did you install? Which one do you have now? Are you still on the beta channel? Ilmean is the checkbox checked in the updater?
On Telegram on the 22.09 it was announced that 7.9 beta is available.
I uninstalled the update tool and the phone restarted. I have version 7.9
