The installation of [iode-6.6-20250803-bangkk](https://community.iode.tech/t/unofficial-build-motorola-moto-g84-5g-bangkk-for-iode-6-x/6514/2) by @roonz98 was successful. An OTA update function is missing, but if the “Local update” worked, an OTA option could be safely dispensed with. iode-7.x-2026\*-bangkk could be tested by me as soon as a version iode-7.2-2026\*-bangkk or higher is released. ---

Hi @ronnz98, many thanks for this build! Installation went fine, after I realized that the build date for boot.img, dtbo.img and/or vendor\_boot.img has to be older than the one from your build. Otherwise, there was an error like "installation aborted…would be a downgrade” (not sure). But everything on the moto g84 works great, it seems till now! ---

Heyy! I’ve got a very “unusual” phone called the Cubot KingKong Power 5. I tried installing iodéOS, but I failed again and again. The phone also has some system apps and a dedicated button for the flashlight. If you could make a version of iodéOS that supports those two functions and runs properly on this phone, I would be incredibly grateful! Have a great day! And if you can’t, that’s totally okay. With an `avb_custom_key-bangkk.bin` even the bootloader of the Motorola moto g84 5G can be relocked, as a recent other Android A16 distribution in practice demonstrates – including OTA update. ---

The external designation «iode-7.8-20260926-bangkk.zip» is corrected by the internal ROM designation «iode-7.8-20260926-UNOFFICIAL-bangkk» OTA update support is neither continuously nor sporadically available, nor is the “relocking bootloader” option available. For me personally, the lack of OTA update support is not a handicap, but for the “average user” it is.
