Hallo everybody, thank you for provideing so much support and info on this forum. I’m afraid I’m a little overwhelmed with the GSI-setup on my phone . I had installed Lineage a couple month ago and was looking for an alternative. So Iode caught my attention. I got stuck with restarting my device after flashing the following gsi .img using fastboot on a linux computer: [https://gitlab.iode.tech/ota/release/-/blob/master/gsi/iode-5.23-20260402-arm64\_ab.img.xz?ref\_type=heads](https://iode-5.23) My device (unsopported): Nokia 6.1 Followed the instructions on how to install: [https://iode.tech/documentation/gsi/](https://iode.tech/documentation/gsi/) After restart the device stays in the “androidONE” without any progress. Just had it like that for about 2 hours. Does anyone know on how to get iode running from here? Looking forward to your responses! ---

I didn’t know there was a Iodé available for Nokia 6.1 PL2. Is your model TA-1043 or TA-1089 ? See Lineage wiki [Install LineageOS on PL2 | LineageOS Wiki](https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/PL2/install/) You also can install official Lineage or Lineage for MicroG [PL2](https://download.lineage.microg.org/PL2/) I would rather take that than some general gsi. ---

Hi Nollie, it is a TA-1043. I had installed LineageOS before. It was working fine but I’m interested in checking out iode. That’s why I tried to get it installed, even with a potential risk of incompability of components. (Or as it turns out the whole device) But I agree now, that it won’t restart, that it’s probably better to stick to the supported Lineage Version. Will try to reinstall that then. That’s probably the safest bet. Thank you. ---

OK, managed to reinstall LOS. Just to double check I installed Treble Info, too. Nokia 6.1 seems compatible. So I might have messed something up during step by step installation or it actually does not work. If I find some more time I might try again. ---

You can request a unofficial build for your device here: [Request unofficial builds for unsupported devices](https://community.iode.tech/t/request-unofficial-builds-for-unsupported-devices/5268) Sorry I didn’t suggest that earlier, I didn’t realize an official LineageOS build existed. I could possibly add it to my build queue if others don’t beat me to it (let’s followup on the above thread). ---

# Nokia 6.1 (2018) PL2 | TA-1043 | 4/64 GB from [LOS4microG](https://download.lineage.microg.org/PL2/) to iodéOS via clean install per iodé-recovery, then `adb -d sideload iode-6.13-20260320-UNOFFICIAL-PL2.zip` and then easily updated to [iode-6.14-20260411-UNOFFICIAL-PL2](https://iode.lineage.microg.org/PL2/) via **OTA-Update**. The entire flash process and OTA update take a little longer because the SoC Qualcomm SDM630 Snapdragon 630 is not very powerful.
