Hi, in Germany there was a test emergency warning today that sends an annoying cell broadcast to every phone. I did deactivate this in the settings. everything. nevertheless, my phone did bring up the warning. Please fix this, obviously the setting does not suppress these emergency cell broadcasts.

Interesting - my phone did the complete opposite: all checkboxes marked, but the test alarm didn’t arrive.

There are different categories of Alert: Severe / Extreme / Emergency;
and the telcos can direct them by region. We apparently have no way to tell which level of Alert was tested, or to where geographically.

This was discussed on the Brax3 forum: [https://community.braxtech.net/t/australia-emergency-alerts/4883](https://community.braxtech.net/t/australia-emergency-alerts/4883) To completely silence all Alerts might require removing your IMEI, which of course will remove your cellphone comms.

Very interesting!

I’ve been going on about AI in Notifications and various people including ióde only falling short of calling me stupid as they say you can turn AI off, yea, really???

You have just proved my point.

AI should be REMOVED from the OS and only added if one chooses!

Correct, they should not be suppressed. The purpose is to protect you from any disasters which my come your way before you know. More likely to occur in Germany than elsewhere.
