For people who might read this thread and have the same problem:

The solution was hidden here:

In German:  
Das Symbol bedeutet, dass der NETZWERKZUGANG blockiert ist. App lang anklicken, auf App-Info klicken, WLAN-Datennutzung anklicken, runterscrollen, dort kann man den Netzwerkzugriff erlauben und auch WLAN- oder Mobildatennutzung erlauben.
