Samsung S10 with Iode 4.32
Two physical SIM cards,
one with a Spanish provider
and one with a German provider.
The German card is for the phone calls.
And mobile data is used with the Spanish card.
The APNs are set correctly on an original Android the cards work.
In APN Settings i have additional add IPv4/IPv6 for the APN-Protocol, but no improvement.
If you leave Spain, the roaming suddenly stops working.
Or the device behaves very strangely. Some social media apps work, for example, WhatsApp and Telegram and Telegram calls, but you can no longer access the Internet and e-mails don’t work either. F-Droid downloads hang, AuroraStore updates go.
It’s also possible that nothing works for minutes and suddenly data flows again, then it stops again.
The smartphone is also used in parallel as a hotspot for a notebook. It’s the same behavior there, TeamViewer suddenly doesn’t work anymore, etc.
Now, as is well known, it works with the Samsung devices for technical reasons, no calls and mobile data at the same time. Since no Voice over LTE is possible.
But that can’t really be the problem. Because at this time, when mobile data is used, no call happens.
I don’t actually see a DNS problem either, since the DNS works globally for all apps, as far as I know.
A tracert shows no abnormalities.
In Germany, for example, roaming is currently running over the Telekom network, which is also known to be the best developed, and is currently running at full swing.
In the settings of the SIM cards, “Mobile Data” and “Use Roaming of Mobile Data” on the Spanish map are activated and deactivated on the German sim-card.
Any ideas?
At least that way you can’t use the device sensibly.
